In a ceremony this morning, European Commission Vice-President in charge of Transport, Mr Siim Kallas presented  Brussels Airport with the Airport Carbon Accredited certificate for ‘Reduction‘ – thanks to their hard work in achieving a reduction of over 10,000 tonnes of CO2! Well done to all at Brussels Airport! 

Vice President Kallas also praised Airport Carbon Accreditation, saying « With over 550,000 tonnes of CO2 reduced to date, I believe that Airport Carbon Accreditation is playing a crucial role in helping move European aviation onto a more sustainable footing. »
