In a ceremony this morning, European Commission Vice-President in charge of Transport, Mr Siim Kallas presented Brussels Airport with the Airport Carbon Accredited certificate for ‘Reduction‘ – thanks to their hard work in achieving a reduction of over 10,000 tonnes of CO2! Well done to all at Brussels Airport!
Vice President Kallas also praised Airport Carbon Accreditation, saying “With over 550,000 tonnes of CO2 reduced to date, I believe that Airport Carbon Accreditation is playing a crucial role in helping move European aviation onto a more sustainable footing.”
