Vérification par un tiers indépendant
Dans le cadre du processus de candidature à l’Airport Carbon Accreditation, l’empreinte carbone de chaque aéroport et, selon le niveau d’accréditation choisi, la gestion du carbone de l’aéroport et les plans des parties prenantes, doivent être vérifiés de manière indépendante par une tierce partie avant d’être examinés par l’administrateur du programme, Environemantal Minds.
Cette vérification ne peut être effectuée que par des vérificateurs qui satisfont à certains seuils de qualification et qui ont suivi avec succès un webinaire du programme et passé l’examen écrit en ligne qui y est associé.
Ils sont alors répertoriés en tant que vérificateurs agréés dans le cadre du programme.
La liste complète des vérificateurs agréés peut être consultée ici.
Les vérificateurs indépendants suivants ont été approuvés par l’administrateur.
Les vérificateurs dont le nom est suivi d’un astérisque (*) sont des vérificateurs certifiés de niveau 4/4+.

Le document comprend également des exigences et des recommandations pour le processus de vérification lui-même.
Les vérificateurs potentiels doivent noter que des règles spéciales s’appliquent pour devenir vérificateur agréé pour les aéroports de niveaux 4 et 4+.
