Hermosillo Airport – the latest carbon accredited airport in Latin America & the Caribbean

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, the airport operator that pioneered the adoption of Airport Carbon Accreditation in the Latin American region has achieved the accreditation of another airport in its network. Hermosillo Airport, joins Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the first accredited airport in the region, and Tijuana Airport in the community of climate-smart airports engaged in the programme. The airport received recognition for measuring its carbon footprint – Level 1 ‘Mapping’ certificate. Congratulations!
