These include the transition of vehicle fleets, the increased use of battery powered and hybrid ground support equipment, optimisation of energy consumption, greater use of renewable energy and investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Additional actions cover improvements in waste management, water use efficiency programmes, staff training and awareness initiatives, and the establishment of a Sustainability Committee to oversee environmental risks and maintain carbon reduction as a strategic priority.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the achievement, Nejat Kurt, General Manager of TAV Macedonia, stated: \u201cAchieving Level 2 Airport Carbon Accreditation represents official recognition that Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport systematically measures, analyzes and actively works to reduce its carbon emissions.
