Since joining the programme in 2018, the airport progressed through Level 2 in 2019 and Level 3 in 2020. By 2023, it had already reduced its carbon-equivalent emissions from operations and electricity consumption by half compared to 2014 levels.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement recognises over a decade of focused actions, including comprehensive energy management and the installation of large-scale photovoltaic power plants that now generate nearly 30% of the airport\u2019s electricity requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Reunion Island Roland Garros Airport is also strengthening engagement with its business partners aiming to decarbonise its entire ecosystem.
