A good idea often takes a lot of time and effort to turn it into a reality, but then success breeds success. Our efforts to motivate airports to approach the issue of CO₂ emissions and climate change in a collective way began in Europe in 2009. Since then, demand for Airport Carbon Accreditation has grown gradually, but steadily to become something that airports all over the world can now get involved in.
